Mission
It is the mission of La Clínica del Cariño Family Health Care Center to make affordable, high quality medical and dental care accessible to everyone in our community.
- We are a community-owned and operated non-profit health care center.
- We have low fees, and we can adjust those fees for each patient based on family size and income. We also provide payment plans to accommodate any financial hardships.
- Most of our staff speak both English and Spanish fluently, and we can accommodate other languages.
- We are a family practice. That means that we see patients of all ages, and provide care for women who are pregnant. We have a pediatrician on staff to help our youngest patients, although everyone who works here can see children. We also have health promotion programs to help people manage their weight, their diabetes and other chronic health problems.
- We take walk-ins and see urgent care concerns as well as chronic health conditions.
- In Hood River we are open from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 8am to 5pm. In The Dalles we are open from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
- We don't require health insurance, although we accept most insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare.
